Centered on the lifestyle of the residents, the project carries out integrated planning for different functional areas. Through whole-home customization, each space is designed as part of a unified system, allowing every area to maintain its own independent function while remaining highly consistent in overall style.
1. Overall Design: Creating a Bright Space with a Light Color Palette
The project combines light-colored walls, white cabinetry, natural wood textures, stone patterns, and large areas of glass daylighting to create a clean and transparent spatial foundation.
Although different areas serve different functions, they all follow the design logic of “light background + wooden warmth + stone texture + minimalist lines.” This approach reduces visual complexity, making the space feel more open and calm, while also meeting the needs of high-end Australian residences for natural light, comfort, and quality living.
The kitchen is an important area in this project. It adopts light-colored cabinetry, stone countertops, and an integrated tall cabinet system, combined with an island, built-in appliances, and ample storage space. Together, these elements unify cooking, preparation, storage, and light social interaction.
The island not only increases countertop space, but also strengthens the interaction between the kitchen and family life. Tall cabinets, appliance cabinets, base cabinets, wall cabinets, and the island system are organized through modular customization, creating a complete layout that improves circulation efficiency while keeping the kitchen visually clean and unified.
The living room introduces natural light through large floor-to-ceiling glass windows. It combines a black stone fireplace feature wall, open display shelving, TV cabinetry, and custom storage systems to create a public living area with both visual focus and functional order.
The black stone feature wall enhances the sense of refinement and creates contrast with the light-colored sofa, white cabinetry, and natural light. Open shelving and concealed storage work together to meet display needs while keeping daily life organized. Through the integrated treatment of wall, cabinet, and background systems, Baodao Home transforms the living room from a simple leisure area into a concentrated expression of family aesthetics and lifestyle.
The tea room uses full-wall custom cabinetry, open shelving, a long table system, and natural wood finishes to establish spatial order. Abundant natural light enters the room, enhancing the warmth of the wood textures and creating a quiet, relaxing atmosphere.
This space can be used for tea tasting and reading, while also serving as a light office or communication area. Open shelving supports display and storage, while concealed cabinets keep the space neat. Through simple structure and gentle materials, the tea room presents a restrained, natural, and lived-in spatial character.
The bedroom emphasizes quietness, comfort, and storage order. The master bedroom creates a warm and relaxing resting atmosphere through a custom headboard backdrop, full-wall wardrobe, bedside storage, and soft fabric materials.
The walk-in wardrobe system combines large-capacity cabinetry, drawer modules, open hanging areas, and display sections to meet the categorized storage needs of clothing, bags, accessories, and other items. With simple cabinet proportions and clear facade divisions, the space provides ample storage capacity without feeling crowded or visually cluttered.
The bathroom uses stone-textured wall finishes, a floating vanity, mirror cabinet system, and wet-dry separation design, creating a clean and bright overall appearance. Moisture-resistant materials, concealed storage, and a long countertop improve daily efficiency while maintaining a visually tidy atmosphere.
The laundry room integrates washing, drying, cleaning supply storage, work surfaces, and household organization functions. Through custom cabinetry and built-in appliances, an area that is often prone to clutter becomes clear, orderly, and efficient.
